I am struggling right now and need to keep spending to a minimum. I don;t want to alarm my family but I need them to watch things, too. How do I share this info with teenagers and an 8-year old? I have never lied to them but they are kids and may not handle a topic they don't really understand.

0 Vote(s)

They have claimed poverty to get money, abuse to get sympathy, illness to get attention, and everyother possible lie you can think of. Women are professionals.
I thought LASIK was for younger eyes by changing the shape of the cornea. But there is a group in town that says it can work to cure presbyopia, as well. My understanding is that these are different things and LASIK does not produce good results in old eyes. Help?!?!?!?!?!?

0 Vote(s)

I have a herniated disc in my neck. The ortho wanted to cut me, but a girl recommended BioSync. It is deep tissue massage that increases the blood flow to tissue. My neck is much better and even my ortho said ti was smart to delay or avoid surgery. I don't know if it will last forever, but I am doing well enough right now and I can still go to the gym and hit a ball. Before surgery...give this a try.

0 Vote(s)

I have lost 40% of my value. If prices were to go up 5% a year I would not break even for 20 years. I am thinking of simply packing up and moving out. In two years I will have saved enough for 20% down on my next place and the market will still be way down so I will actually be in a place to build equity. I know it is irresponsible. But these are desperate times and I feel a need to look at things very selfishly. I need to make money on my house or I will be on the street when I retire. Thoughts on this plan would be very appreciated.

0 Vote(s)

I run a marketing company with clients scattered nationally. Business is off (duh!!) and a friend suggested I bring on some hungry dogs to try and change the flow. This is a cultural shift for us as a company. We have always been more referral based and have survived for 20 years staying above the pack with good service and work. But it is a different time. My concern is that this move shifts our brand into more of a price-cutting model as these guys go for anything they can to get commissions. This doesn't feel right but the most important thing is the survival of the business. Any experiences out there with blood sucking reps.

0 Vote(s)

At what point do you consider giving something like jewelry to the woman you're with? What sucks about the jewelry buying process? That kind of stuff.

0 Vote(s)

I am a part of a new family and am struggling about how to reference my stepkids father. He is not a good guy, doesn;t pay his support and is a drug user. I think the kids know this, but I don't want to dump on him. That would only make them defend him. So what do I do? Pretend his behavior is okay? Condemn him? Ignore him...that would be disingenuous. The kids are 12 and 14 so they get it. But they love their dad in their own way and come back after a weekend with him spitting bullets at their Mom.

0 Vote(s)

I have one set of stepkids. Mom was insane. But the kids are great and we are still close. Now I am with a new gal and she has kids, as well, and a crazy ex. I like this woman but am a little burnt on weeding through all the issues that come with a situation like this. Still, the best women out there are ones with kids, at least for me. A woman in her 40s who has never been married is a train wreck. There is a reason they are single....I guess I just answered my own question.

0 Vote(s)

My ex and I have not been happy for awhile. I told her a couple weeks ago that I was done and she came right back at me that she had been over me for a long time. Well, that pissed me off and I said some things that I regret. I know it really doesn't matter, but it has left me feeling less than standup about how things went. Again, I know it won't change anything and I don't want it to. I would just like to feel better about myself.

0 Vote(s)
