She is in her early twenties and I am 48, so there is no crime here. But what is the most amazing thing about it is how natural it feels. There is good reason most single women are single. The more I meet the more damage I see. SIngle women in their 40s have been through multiple relationships and are unwilling to compromise or change to meet the needs of another. That is why men go young, I think. It isn't for the look of youth, it is for the fun and laughter and wide-eyed joy that young women bring to a relationship. They are grateful. They are filled with hope.
I have a job that isn't going anywhere...but it is a job. It's a paycheck. But I have an idea for a new venture that I think could work. But I need money. Is it better to borrow money from friends? Put initial costs on a credit card? Or get a small business loan? I am putting up over half by myself, but I do need some help. Also, if I do go to the bank I know I need a business plan. Anything else?

0 Vote(s)

I am a part of a new family and am struggling about how to reference my stepkids father. He is not a good guy, doesn;t pay his support and is a drug user. I think the kids know this, but I don't want to dump on him. That would only make them defend him. So what do I do? Pretend his behavior is okay? Condemn him? Ignore him...that would be disingenuous. The kids are 12 and 14 so they get it. But they love their dad in their own way and come back after a weekend with him spitting bullets at their Mom.

0 Vote(s)

What is the biggest lie ever told to you by a woman? I can top that....a psycho ex claims she has cancer. Maybe she does, maybe she doesn't...but the chips don't add up. I initially offered my love and support. That was promptly withdrawn when I discovered a supposed hospital visit was actually spent in a drunked romp around town. SHe says I am wrong. She cries and stomps her foot. She attacks me for my insensitivity. Maybe she is right. But I am donedonedone.

0 Vote(s)
