After 16 years of running the show in this office, higher ups brought in someone beneath me. She is very talented, but young and raw. While it isn't technically a demotion, it is undermining and will be seen as slap by others in the office. So what do I do? Do I stay and take one for the team? Do I do all I can to make it work? The economy sucks right now and I am not too hot for exploring the job market. I am still in a little bit of shock but wanted others to chime in on how to save my career and my pride....As if that matters....
