I went to my 30th high school reunion and saw the high school flame that never was. I fell in love with her in first period of my freshman year, but never had the guts to say anything to her. I mean anything. For an entire semester, I sat in the front row, right next to the most beautiful thing on the face of the earth, and I never said ONE word to her. Thanks to her, I got a solid A in that class.
Anyway, at the 30th reunion she was with her husband of 10 years. A guy that I went to high school with.
Yeah, you got it--she and an old buddy met up at the 20th reunion, divorced their exs, and ended up getting married.
I skipped that reunion. Did I make a mistake or what?

I think it is great that you still think of this girl and I do think you fucked up by not attending the reunion. Things like that--reunions, funerals, weddings, graduations--are easy to blow off. But they matter. And it always best to take part in these rituals. You missed your 20th. Don't miss your 40th. Maybe she'll be single again!!
Get on her.
Those types of rituals are important especially when there are side benefits in the making..You never know when you might also get a job lead or some other bene...
I never thought about the admiral things that were out there. I was strictly thinking non-job related stuff...
