I think there must be some faith, some belief, in the opportunity for change. It is in the air. Esteem has not really been present for a long time--clouded by excess and greed. With spring comes renewal and the opportunity for change.
The best way to get out of yourself is to give to others. I was siffering through a phase of thinking "I suck!!" and it stayed with me until I stopped thinking only about me. Give it up and you'll find yourself. Go to the United Way website in your area. They have lots of programs that need folks, sometimes just an hour or two a month.
