I am so sick of the rich getting richer and getting off for sticking it to the rest of us. I would be willing to pay more in taxes if people who needed help got it and if people who needed a slap in the face got that, too. The idea of the American Dream is done for middle class working people like myself. The revolution is coming and I will be on top of the barricades and in the front of the protest with my fist clenched. People say America is a joke to the rest of the world. I say we are a joke to our own history and best traditions. Greed defines us. Consumption completes us. America the beautiful? How about America the fat and lazy.

Agreeagreeagree!!!!!!!! How we can bail out these fucks is beyond me. I am an entrepreneur who has put thousands into my new venture. If I do well, I win. If I don;t, I lose. That's the way it works. The fact that John Thain at Merril was lobbying for millions in bonus dollars after ruining his company says it all to me. I am not a socialist (not sure hwo to define that for today) but I am for looking hard at how these big guys get to reap the rewards without taking the risk. That is un-American.
